Both CB1 (Cannabinoid receptor type 1) and CB2 (Cannabinoid receptor type 2) receptors are parts of the ECS system, with CB1 mostly found in the brain and also in the lungs, liver, and kidneys. CB2 receptor prevents our body from oxidative damage. 

Together, these receptors regulate different processes in our body, such as immune functions, metabolism, emotions, appetite, etc. Consuming CBD means helps support the activities of these receptors and the naturally occurring system of our body.
